Bill took a rare weekday off
so we took Tyler to the zoo. Tyler just loves checking out the animals and
really loves when he can feed the giraffes.
This meerkat
just cracked us up the way it was sitting there, not a care in the world. |
Eeeeeew! |
Tyler and Alana met up with
their friends Lola and Valentina to go blueberry picking at the blueberry farm
close to our house. It was their first time doing it and even though Tyler
doesn’t really like blueberries he had a blast doing it.

On the morning of Saturday,
June 27 Bill was helping some of our friends move into their house so Alana and
Tyler met up with Valentina and Lola again to take in the Lompoc Flower
Festival Parade. It was their first time attending it. The theme was “Childhood
Fantasies.” Tyler was a little disappointed that they didn’t hand out candy at
the parade, but seeing a Thomas the Tank Engine float made up for it.
Hard to believe
it’s decorated with flowers! |

It was warm with a good
breeze keeping things interesting, but we got our first trip to the beach in on
Sunday, June 28. We headed out to Refugio Beach for some lunch and play time.
Tyler was so happy he bounced his way down to the water. We didn’t stay as long
as we wanted due to the wind, but it was still a lot of fun. We’re looking
forward to our trip to Kauai with warmer weather and water.
First things

Tyler did a
great job of burying Daddy in the sand. |
